Version: alpha-2026-10-04. This notice takes effect when first publicly published and covers the restricted, made-up-data alpha described below.
Operator: LifeManagement. Privacy and support contact: EverydayLifeOps@gmail.com. LifeManagement is the operator name supplied for this project; this notice does not represent it as an LLC.
Current alpha and planned services
Oakday is being built to help people organize home projects, care and records. Its current alpha is for made-up information only. It saves test Profiles, Homes, Areas, Spaces, Home details and local changes in an encrypted device vault, and supports tested local encrypted recovery archives. Project preview information is temporary. The app is not yet cleared for real household data.
Google and Cloudflare development accounts have been prepared. This is not evidence that connected services work in the app. Normal Google sign-in, connected Drive recovery and sync, device-to-device sharing, live AI, purchases and advertising are not active in the current alpha. Descriptions of these services below are plans, not claims of present availability. We will update this notice and provide the relevant in-app explanation before enabling new processing.
This website consists of static information pages. We have added no analytics, advertising scripts, contact forms or sign-in system. Cloudflare hosts it and may process request information such as IP address, browser information and access times to deliver and secure the site. Following an external link or sending email involves the relevant provider's own services and policies.
Information in Oakday
The current vault can contain the test names, addresses, property details, locations, measurements, identifiers and change history you enter. Planned records include projects, maintenance, equipment, contacts, finances, receipts, photos, documents and AI conversations. Do not enter real personal or household information into this alpha.
Oakday is local-first. There is no Oakday-hosted database of your household records. Local storage, sync and backup are separate functions. Entering an address does not authorize GPS access, an address lookup or advertising targeting. No Brave, SerpAPI or Places integration is part of the selected architecture.
Google sign-in, Drive and recovery: planned
Normal initial setup is planned to require Google sign-in, with local access afterward available offline. Google manages its account password and account recovery. Oakday will not collect your Google password or provide a separate Oakday password account.
The selected Google permissions identify the account and allow access to app-private configuration data and specific Drive files created or selected for Oakday. They are openid, userinfo.email, userinfo.profile, drive.appdata and drive.file. The app must request only permissions needed by an available feature, in context. Configuring scopes in a development console is not a user's authorization to read their data. We do not seek permission to read an entire Drive, Gmail mailbox or unrelated files.
Private Drive app data is intended to hold a recovery-key record tied to the authorized account and local Profile. With that record and a valid backup, a replacement device could restore existing data. Google can access that recovery capability and could decrypt the backups it unlocks. This recovery design is not end-to-end encryption against Google. Cloudflare holds no recovery key and has no recovery role.
Drive household sync and backups will encrypt content before upload. Google can still process account, network and file metadata. A missing backup or deleted recovery record cannot be recreated by signing in. Account compromise may expose recoverable data. Disconnecting a service, revoking authorization and deleting stored files are different actions; none automatically removes every existing copy.
Oakday's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements where applicable. Google-derived data will not be sold, sent to advertising platforms or used for advertising targeting. New uses require updated disclosures and the required consent before processing.
Device sharing: planned
Approved devices will exchange only authorized records and encrypted payloads. Direct peers can learn connection information, including IP addresses. Cloudflare STUN/TURN may process connectivity metadata and relay encrypted traffic. Revocation limits future access but cannot retrieve information already copied, exported or photographed by a recipient. Sharing, Member projections and revocation remain implementation and testing gates.
AI: planned and optional
Oakday's selected inference service is Cloudflare Workers AI, through a controlled Cloudflare service. No personal AI API key is required. Live AI is disabled in the current alpha. Ordinary record entry will not automatically transmit household records to AI.
Before an AI request sends household information, the app must explain the recipient and content involved and obtain the relevant choice. Only necessary information within the user's permissions may be included. Selected text is readable by the inference service; encrypted transport does not make inference content unreadable to it. Recovery keys and Google authorization credentials must not enter model prompts.
The planned service will enforce finite allowances using minimal operational records. Its exact fields, retention and deletion controls must be disclosed before activation. No zero-retention guarantee is made. Cloudflare's handling of content depends on the selected services and configuration; see its Workers AI data policy. Associated storage products are not automatically included or authorized. Household prompts and outputs must not be retained in Oakday gateway logs or persistent gateway storage.
Permissions, diagnostics and commercial features
Device access must be limited to an available feature and requested when needed. Selecting a file does not authorize reading unrelated files. No third-party analytics or advertising integration is selected. Any future diagnostics, SDKs or additional permissions must be disclosed before activation.
Advertising and purchases are disabled. Private household information and Google-derived data must not be used for ad targeting. Optional paid AI requires separate published pricing, purchase terms and data disclosures before activation. Payment status does not grant access to a Home.
Retention, deletion and support
Device records remain until removed through available controls or by clearing the app's local data. The alpha does not yet have complete record-deletion and export interfaces. Uninstalling normally removes app-private device data and can remove key access. It does not erase user-selected archives, Drive files, exported copies, recipients' copies or subscriptions.
A recovery archive retains its snapshot; deleting a current record does not rewrite old archives. Restoring an older archive can bring back older information. Preserve a verified backup and protect its recovery material. Losing all usable recovery paths can make data inaccessible.
Email EverydayLifeOps@gmail.com for support, privacy requests or security concerns. Sending email shares your address, message and chosen attachments with the operator through Google email services. Send only necessary information; do not send passwords, tokens, recovery keys or unnecessary private records. Support messages may remain in the mailbox until deleted. No fixed automatic deletion schedule is currently implemented; a defined schedule is required before broader service activation. Requests for deletion of operator-held messages are handled through this address, subject to applicable retention obligations.
The operator cannot erase copies it does not control. Where verification is needed for an access, correction or deletion request, we will seek proportionate information without asking for vault secrets. Nothing in this notice removes rights provided by applicable law.
Security, audience and changes
The local vault and supported local archives use encryption. Encryption cannot protect information exposed through a compromised or unlocked device, a plaintext export or an authorized recipient. No promise of perfect security or guaranteed recovery is made.
The product plan targets ages 13 and older. The alpha has no verified age gate and is not intended for children under 13. Public distribution, eligibility and language requirements for the United States, Canada and Mexico remain release checks. Google and Cloudflare can process service information outside your country; no country-specific processing guarantee is made.
Changes will receive a new version. Previous published policy copies will remain available. Material new data uses require appropriate notice and consent before activation. Publishing this website does not activate app onboarding, connected services or a production release.
