The selected architecture stores household records in an encrypted device vault. There is no Oakday-hosted household database. Normal initial setup is planned to use Google sign-in, followed by offline local access. Google Drive recovery and sync, device transfers and optional Cloudflare AI still need implementation and connected testing.
Google-based recovery is intended to store backup recovery capability in private Drive app data. Google can access that capability and could decrypt recoverable backups. Cloudflare has no recovery role.
